Pittsburg-Cincinnati Stage Coach and South Gorge Trail Loop, John Bryan State Park

  • State park that surrounds Clifton Gorge, between Yellow Springs and Clifton
  • By the late 19th century, most of the industrial activity in the area had ceased, and water was no longer an economical source of power, and many mills were abandoned
  • However, one of the grist mills, built in 1802, is still in operation, named the Clifton Mill
  • Now, the park contains a campground, and hiking and biking trails

Playhouse Square, Cleveland

National Veterans Memorial and Museum, Columbus

  • The museum's main focus is on the personal stories of U.S. veterans, in contrast to other war museums that are dedicated to the conflicts themselves
  • It opened in 2018, and exhibits include stories from veterans dating from American Revolutionary War onwards to recent conflicts

National Museum of the United States Air Force

  • Official museum of the United States Air Force located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, six miles (9.7 km) northeast of Dayton
  • The NMUSAF is the oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world, with more than 360 aircraft and missiles on display
  • Among the exhibits is the Apollo 15 Command Module Endeavour which orbited the Moon 74 times in 1971, and the Boeing B-29 Superfortress that dropped the Fat Man atomic bomb on Nagasaki during the last days of World War II

Old Man's Cave and Naturalist Cabin Loop, Hocking Hills State Park

  • State park in the Hocking Hills region, and in some areas the park adjoins the Hocking State Forest
  • Within the park are over 25 miles (40 km) of hiking trails, rock formations, waterfalls, and recess cave
  • More than 330 million years ago, the area was relatively level and covered by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean
  • After millions of years, the ocean receded, and the sandy layers bonded with silica to form the Black Hand Sandstone that underlies the area
