- The museum houses a diverse permanent collection of more than 61,000 works of art from around the world

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

- The museum documents the history of rock music and the artists, producers, engineers, and other notable figures and personnel who have influenced its development
- The first group of inductees, inducted in 1986, included Elvis Presley, James Brown, Little Richard, Fats Domino, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Sam Cooke, the Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, and Jerry Lee Lewis
Findlay Market, Cincinnati

- Ohio's oldest continuously operated public market
- Findlay Market was founded in 1852, on land donated by the estate of General James Findlay and his wife Jane Irwin Findlay
- Today, Findlay Market has more than about three dozen indoor merchants selling meat, fish, poultry, produce, flowers, cheese, deli, and ethnic foods

- State park that surrounds Clifton Gorge, between Yellow Springs and Clifton
- By the late 19th century, most of the industrial activity in the area had ceased, and water was no longer an economical source of power, and many mills were abandoned
- However, one of the grist mills, built in 1802, is still in operation, named the Clifton Mill
- Now, the park contains a campground, and hiking and biking trails
Playhouse Square, Cleveland

- Theater district in downtown Cleveland, that is the largest performing arts center in the US outside of New York City
- Constructed in the early 1920s, the theaters were subsequently closed down, but were revived through a grassroots effort
- Their renovation and reopening helped usher in a new era of successful downtown revitalization in Cleveland
National Veterans Memorial and Museum, Columbus

- National museum for veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, located in Columbus
- The museum's main focus is on the personal stories of U.S. veterans, in contrast to other war museums that are dedicated to the conflicts themselves
- It opened in 2018, and exhibits include stories from veterans dating from American Revolutionary War onwards to recent conflicts
National Museum of the United States Air Force

- Official museum of the United States Air Force located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, six miles (9.7 km) northeast of Dayton
- The NMUSAF is the oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world, with more than 360 aircraft and missiles on display
- Among the exhibits is the Apollo 15 Command Module Endeavour which orbited the Moon 74 times in 1971, and the Boeing B-29 Superfortress that dropped the Fat Man atomic bomb on Nagasaki during the last days of World War II
Cuyahoga Valley Ledges Trail, Cuyahoga Valley National Park

- Cuyahoga Valley was designated as a national park in 2000, and is the only national park in the state of Ohio

- The natural areas include forests, rolling hills, narrow ravines, wetlands, rivers, and waterfalls
Old Man's Cave and Naturalist Cabin Loop, Hocking Hills State Park

- State park in the Hocking Hills region, and in some areas the park adjoins the Hocking State Forest
- Within the park are over 25 miles (40 km) of hiking trails, rock formations, waterfalls, and recess cave
- More than 330 million years ago, the area was relatively level and covered by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean
- After millions of years, the ocean receded, and the sandy layers bonded with silica to form the Black Hand Sandstone that underlies the area
